Achievement points 'not mandatory on Wii U'

Accomplishment rewards service will be 'developer driven', says Reggie Fils-Aime
Nintendo of America executive Reggie Fils-Aime said game-specific Achievements Points were"developer driven".
When asked by news site Kotaku whether Achievement Points were mandatory for developers, the executive replied "that is not our philosophy".
Nintendo introduced an"Accomplishments" system within the 3DS Street Pass service, where customers cancomplete up to 78 different challenges.
